DEPARTMENT: iTech, Dalian, China REPORTING TO (TITLE ONLY) : iTech Manager POSITION SUMMARY For the sales revenue-up of Oracle Fusion Middleware products in Korea, China, and APAC market, he(or she) will support sales consultants at the background, remotely for the most part, for the technical solution needs. As this position is highly technology oriented one, the one who thinks he(or she) is ready for this, or who wants to be an expert in latest IT technology can apply for this position. 1. Support Oracle Fusion Middleware business development and transactional sales for Oracle Technology solutions by providing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), demonstrations, and product implementation and its configuration for Oracle Field Sales teams, the BD Team, and local business partners. 2. Architect and deploy technology initiatives that: - encourage Oracle Technology presales support in the sales cycle, - empower the Sales Reps, - assist management by driving business development - provide for enhanced reporting. 3. Design and develop prototypes and working demonstrations using Oracle technology to support sales opportunities and business development initiatives. 4. Use technical development skills in support of business and sales initiatives in the following areas: - J2EE solutions - Application Servers, especially Oracle Application Server - Data Integration Solution (SOA), Identity Management 5. Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of Oracle Technology, and transfer such knowledge to other Oracle iTech Sales Consultants, Sales Reps, and local partners. 6. Design, build and deliver Sales Program materials such as training, eNewsletters, and iSeminar presentations and demonstrations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidates will have(be);
1. Strong technology background: He(she) who has very strong technology background in Middleware S/W technology and has more than 4 years of experience in J2EE area – Required. - 4+ years¡¯ J2EE experience in enterprise distributed system environment is required - Profound understanding and experience of WebService, SOA, IDM is required. - Abundant experience in management of various systems and integration among heterogeneous systems is highly valued. - Much experience in BMT or performance test of middleware products is highly valued. - Comprehensive knowledge in Oracle DB/MW products, RDBMS programming skills, or DB transaction system experience (RAC, HA, EM, DB Performance Tuning, DR) in an enterprise distributed system environment is highly valued - 2+ years on Unix/Linux OS platform experience and good SQL skills is preferred 2. Excellent QoS: He(she) who has a very good customer oriented service mind and has abundant service experience. He(she) who can win good credit and reliability from customer with dead-line punctuality, timely and initiative communication, and prudent project scheduling. - Strong communication and training skills are required 3. Teamwork Spirit: He(she) who should be humble and self-motivated, has good team-work spirit, and can communicate actively and aggressively to collaborate with colleagues in many remote locations. He can solve problems not only as an individual, but also as a team member, and can create synergy through active teamwork among team members. - Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organization is essential - Compatible interpersonal skills and multi cultural sensitivity is essential 4. Eager to learn: He(she) who has a strong eagerness to learn in technology, and who can challenge and overcome difficulties independently to solve technical problems. Outstanding Language Ability: English > Korean > Mandarin - Fluency in English as working language is required - Fluency in Korean as business communication language is mandatory - Mandarin as supplement of those above is preferable.
