Dear Supervisors:
I am glad to have this opportunity applying for your company. I have been striving to prepare myself to be a competent candidate since entering Yanbian University. Under the influence of my father who has traded with Korea and Japan over 15 years in Qingdao Port City, I became interested in business field spontaneously. I was almost blind in English before entering Yanbian University because I learned Japanese as my foreign language. My father often told me, “The world language is English. Whatever you will do in future, you would better know a little English”. So I felt mastering English is priority in a long run and then I decided to be an English learner.
My undergraduate education was an intensive and fast-growing process. Through my hard-working , I have passed TEM-4(Test for English Majors), CJT-4(Japanese Test), CCT-2(Computer Test) with ease and so far I have achieved the first prize scholarship granted by school for many times. Furthermore, as recognition of my academic performance I was awarded the first prize National scholarship in 2002, which is the highest honor among Chinese University students. During the postgraduate program, I continued to major in linguistics from which I also received plentiful knowledge about language.
As to practice, I have obtained first-hand and practical experience in a Korean export-oriented company as assistance of factory director, through which I realized I am still lack of analytical skills and organizing ability. And another experience is that I had done monitoring work after I graduated from the Bachelor’s Degree in an IT company which is the most influential one among the Internet companies of Korea.
My family has four members, strict father, benign mother and pretty younger sister and me. Their love and support have always been my power to continue my study. I have broad interests like many other youngsters. Surfing on line and watching Korean series drama is my favorite pastime. I also actively attend volunteer activities to help people in need.
I realize that admission into your position is highly competitive, but I know that I am highly qualified, eager and prepared to meet all of the challenges I will undoubtedly be presented with. Please open your doors to me so I can open the doors of discovery to the world.
